I believe in the mission of CCHCI because I trust in its continued focus on reducing health disparities by concentrating on preventative programs and staff development. I am passionate about providing quality care and strive to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the community we serve.

Jessica'S BACKGROUND

A patient-focused and resourceful healthcare professional, Jessie King has extensive experience in project development, regulatory compliance, and leading continuous improvement across operational and executive teams. With a proven history of success in fast-paced and detail-oriented work environments, Jessie brings a high sense of time management, organization, and problem-solving proficiency to Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc.. Her expertise in developing and maintaining administrative and quality improvement processes that reduce redundancy, improve accuracy and efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives have benefited Chiricahua for the past 13 years.

A skilled leader with a track record of successfully opening new facilities, managing diverse departments, and addressing the social determinants of health, Jessie is an accomplished communicator and trainer, adept at building and strengthening relationships across functions to drive cohesive, strategic operations.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Academic

Jessie received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Maine, Orono, ME and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix, in Phoenix, AZ. She also completed a Health Disparities Fellowship through the Health and Wellness Trust Fund & Duke Global Institute, Durham, NC. Jessie is additionally accredited with a HCRI Human Resources Professional Certification and completed a Personal Leadership Certificate Program at Columbia Business School in New York, NY.

Founded in 1996 as a small, rural health clinic operating in a community center, Chiricahua has since grown to become the largest primary care organization in southeastern Arizona, serving more than 33,000 patients annually. Chiricahua operates fifteen fixed-site medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy clinics, and eight mobile-medical and mobile-dental units, that serve patients throughout the more than 6200 square mile borderlands of Cochise County.
