My interest in medicine first started when I was volunteering for a clinic that was strictly for those without insurance and mostly Spanish speaking patients. Since that time, I have felt deeply compelled to serve this population and so CCHCI fits that mission perfectly. Medicine is so complex and the socioeconomic difficulties of so many adds to this complexity and I am happy to help in this capacity while also working on the border, which has also been a goal of mine since starting my path in medicine.

In Line with the mission of Chiricahua, I believe in putting patients first and providing a high level of care, no matter who comes to the clinic's doorstep. Chiricahua also allows the opportunity to partner with the community outside of the clinic doors.

I believe that only through the diligence of teamwork can CCHCI be an exceptional organization. I am inspired and driven forward daily by the conviction and talent of my colleagues who believe the same.

Behavioral Health Department

This organization was founded on the principle of bringing quality health care to even the most needy and vulnerable. While anyone can experience behavioral health difficulties, it is especially prevalent among those with the least access to essential resources. I love that Chiricahua can help bring these essential services to those who need it most.

I am proud to work at a community health center, where we don't focus on the patient's ability to pay and where we work as a team to bring the highest quality medical care to ALL patients. Everyone is welcomed and no one is turned away. I can’t help but feel great about the work we do at CCHCI!

I believe in health for all because I feel like it is a universal right for every individual. Every individual in any country should be able to receive adequate health care for all their needs: physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual which makes us whole. Health care should focus on the whole person as everything is interrelated. I believe preventive care is the key to helping our communities. The CCHCI mission of building healthy communities is important to me because we all depend on one another, it’s all about the human connection with others. By making sure that we are focused on building healthy communities, we are also taking care of one another.
