The Chiricahua Health Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, established in 2024 to support Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc and the vision of Health for All.

Health for All means everyone achieves their highest possible level of “whole person health,” regardless of socioeconomic status, ethnicity, or geographical location. Health for All encompasses the treatment of illnesses, the promotion of health, and prevention of disease. And at Chiricahua, “Health for All” is more than a vision – it’s a promise!

Keeping this promise to achieve “whole person health” means going the extra mile – even when services are not reimbursable. Working with domestic violence survivors, caring for migrant and seasonal farmworkers, and providing whole person care that goes beyond the clinic walls – food, shelter, transportation – this is Health for All and this is why the Chiricahua Health Foundation was established.

In support of this amazing and aspirational vision, the Chiricahua Health Foundation works to make sure we keep our promises and Expand Access to Care in the Borderlands.

You can be a part of Chiricahua keeping its promise… The Foundation is actively:

Raising direct program funds to keep going the extra mile;
Establishing a “fund for innovation” that can invest in new ideas and proactively invest in new ideas to expand essential health services to underserved areas;
Building an endowment that will support increased and broader access to Chiricahua’s many programs well into the future

Our first major fundraising effort is to establish the Fund to End Domestic Violence.

This critical fund supports lifesaving protection efforts like helping survivors get restraining orders, access emergency housing, and pay for medical expenses.

With your support of the Chiricahua Health Foundation, we can mobilize more social workers to have an equal focus on working with young people to create healthy relationships and break the cycle of domestic violence one survivor, one family at a time.

Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. is a mission driven Federally Qualified Health Center and a tax exempt not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1996 as a small, rural health clinic operating in a community center, Chiricahua has since grown to become the largest primary care organization in southeastern Arizona, serving more than 35,000 patients annually. Chiricahua operates fifteen fixed-site medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy clinics, and five mobile-medical and mobile-dental units, that serve patients throughout the more than 6200 square mile borderlands of Cochise County.
