Integrated Behavioral Health & Counseling

Main Image

At Chiricahua Community Health Centers (CCHCI), we care about your mental health just as much as your physical health. We offer counseling for individuals and families who are 6 years old and older. We can help you with many common issues, even if you haven't been officially diagnosed, such as:

  • Behavioral Issues
  • Conduct Disorders
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder
  • ADHD
  • ADD
  • Body Dysphoria
  • Trauma
  • Depression
  • Anxiety

At Chiricahua, we have a program called Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH). It's a new and effective way for our medical and behavioral health providers to work together and help patients overcome barriers to manage their medical conditions. IBH providers give practical suggestions to improve overall health, both physically and mentally. It doesn't cost extra and happens during the medical visit. Chiricahua also has a program called Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) to support those struggling with drug dependency or chronic pain. It combines case management, counseling, and treatment using Buprenorphine (Suboxone). MAT Program Counseling

I believe in health for all because I feel like it is a universal right for every individual. Every individual in any country should be able to receive adequate health care for all their needs: physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual which makes us whole. Health care should focus on the whole person as everything is interrelated. I believe preventive care is the key to helping our communities. The CCHCI mission of building healthy communities is important to me because we all depend on one another, it’s all about the human connection with others. By making sure that we are focused on building healthy communities, we are also taking care of one another.

This organization was founded on the principle of bringing quality health care to even the most needy and vulnerable. While anyone can experience behavioral health difficulties, it is especially prevalent among those with the least access to essential resources. I love that Chiricahua can help bring these essential services to those who need it most.

Everyone has a different, personal definition of “health.” Whatever that definition may be, I believe that all of us deserve choices when it comes to our physical and mental health, as well as someone who we trust to help us navigate those choices. I work each day to offer those choices and that trust to our patients as part of Chiricahua’s mission of “Health for All.”
