Beginning in 2006, Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. has employed a full-time Department of Justice certified patient advocate, and has provided these vital free services to all in Cochise County. In 2016, CCHCI sent three current employees to be certified as additional advocates available to assist in the communities where they were currently working.
At CCHCI, we deeply believe in caring for the whole person. In addition to physical health, this includes both emotional and mental well-being. We happily offer these important services countywide to all people regardless of ability to pay or insurance status.
Chiricahua advocates additionally offer domestic violence/sexual assault education for schools, women's groups, church groups, or any other organization wishing to bring education on these topics to their group.
Those seeking patient advocacy services or educational presentations can call or visit any CCHCI clinic or contact Rosamaria Mendoza Chapa at (520) 642-6088 or (520) 678-9039, firstname.lastname@example.org.
