I believe in Chiricahua’s mission of providing healthcare for all, regardless of a person’s ability to pay. I believe comprehensive, quality, and integrative healthcare should be available to everyone regardless of income or zip code. Chiricahua provides so many valuable resources to Cochise County and by working here I feel as though I am able to give back to the community where I grew up. While working in the pharmacy, I look at each patient as someone’s family member and work to take care of them as I would my own family. Here at Chiricahua, our patients are real people and not just another number or just another prescription.

I believe healthcare should be provided for every person in this country regardless of their ability to pay. As a pharmacist, I have seen incredibly expensive copays on medications that are crucial to a patient's survival, yet they are unable to afford. Fortunately, working for Chiricahua allows me to get patients their medication at a deeply discounted rate due to the 340B program we qualify as an organization for. I am finally able to come to work everyday and provide patients with the medications they need and they healthcare they deserve.

I believe in "Health for All" and the unique role Chiricahua plays in assuring that people get the healthcare they need. By breaking down barriers to healthcare such as low income, lack of transportation, cultural or language differences, and access to educational programs, Chiricahua provides a vital service to the health and well being of the under served populations in Southeast Arizona.
