Everyone should have access to quality health care. Chiricahua has proved itself an innovative leader in delivering on this mission in Cochise County. I’m proud to be a member of its Board, hoping to preserve what it has delivered and expand on its mission where feasible.
I was born and raised in a small farm town in Northern Illinois, eventually heading to Champaign-Urbana where I earned a degree in economics from the University of Illinois, and later a law degree from DePaul University in Chicago. I moved to Bisbee in 2003 and became the Chief Civil Deputy in the County Attorney’s Office, retiring in 2021. While there, where we were responsible for the County’s psychiatric commitments, I developed a passion for behavioral health treatment. I joined the Chiricahua Board in 2022.
