My family have been farmers and ranchers in this area since 1877. That is before Cochise County existed and before Arizona was a state. I was born in the Benson Hospital, graduated from St. David High School, received a bachelor’s degree from ASU and then graduated from medical school at the U of A in Tucson. I cheer for both ASU and U of A! Apart from 2 years living in Norway and 3 years in Utah for my medical residency training, I have lived in Arizona all of my life.
I have been practicing in the Benson area since 2000. I love practicing medicine in a small town and helping people in my community. I am a strong believer in preventive medicine.
