At the Chiricahua Health Foundation Inc., we are committed to breaking the cycle of domestic violence and creating a safer, healthier future for our community. The Fund to End Domestic Violence Program focuses on supporting survivors, educating families, and promoting prevention efforts to eliminate domestic violence from its roots.

Our Mission

The Fund to End Domestic Violence Program is centered on addressing the deeply rooted issues that perpetuate abuse, providing survivors with the resources and support they need to reclaim their lives, and educating the next generation to stop the cycle of violence. By working with both individuals and the community, we aim to create lasting change and foster a culture of safety and respect for all.

Key Program Initiatives

• Support for Survivors
  We provide comprehensive care for survivors of domestic violence, ensuring they have access to medical, emotional, and legal support. Our team of professionals is trained to handle each case with compassion and confidentiality, guiding survivors through their recovery process and helping them regain control of their lives.
• Educational Outreach
  Prevention starts with education. Our program works with schools, youth groups, and community organizations to educate young people about healthy relationships, consent, and conflict resolution. We believe that by teaching these values early, we can prevent future abuse and create a culture that does not tolerate violence.
• Community Engagement
  We engage the entire community in efforts to end domestic violence through workshops, public events, and awareness campaigns. By fostering open discussions and equipping community members with the tools to recognize and respond to domestic violence, we create a support network for survivors and work towards collective prevention.
• Advocacy and Legal Support
  Survivors often face complex legal battles. Our program connects them with legal professionals who provide guidance and advocacy in pursuing protective orders, child custody, and other legal matters related to domestic violence. Our First Initiative: The Fund to End Domestic Violence

To launch our efforts, we are establishing The Fund to End Domestic Violence, a dedicated resource to directly support survivors and fund prevention efforts. This fund will provide immediate assistance to those affected by domestic violence, including shelter, legal aid, medical care, and counseling services.

The fund also supports educational programs designed to prevent domestic violence by working with families, schools, and the wider community. Through this initiative, we aim to break the cycle of domestic violence, one survivor at a time.
