At Chiricahua, we’re dedicated to improving healthcare for communities in Cochise County, Arizona. With the help of federal energy incentives, we’re making critical upgrades to clinics and facilities in Douglas and Willcox, lowering energy costs, and enhancing sustainability. The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and USDA’s Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) enable us to invest in renewable energy projects, such as solar power and battery storage, which reduces our dependence on the electrical grid. And our savings can then go to expanding services and improving patient care.
