Why I Believe in the Mission of CCHCI

In order for an individual to have an opportunity to live their best life, attending to their whole person health is crucial. All individuals, from all walks of life should have the opportunity to access comprehensive healthcare. Whole person health is readily embraced and practiced by CCHCI from the ground up, in every department.

Kathryn Henley, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Chiricahua

I have had the amazing opportunity to engage in the field of mental health from the beginning of my career as a registered nurse. It was clear to me from day one that my personal attributes and values could guide me to assist others that were struggling from mental health challenges. In 2001, I felt a need to advance my career and obtained my Master’s degree. I have been a successful and accomplished Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner ever since. I have worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings throughout my career, though my heart is centered in community mental health.

I am an outdoor, nature loving individual. I am outside as much as I possibly can. I am an avid backcountry horseman. I have more recently initiated my running career, participating in 10k and half marathon events.
