D. Scott Skaggs, D.C.

serves as a dedicated Chiropractic Provider at Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. (CCHCI), delivering compassionate, patient-centered musculoskeletal care to the local community. With a commitment to non-invasive pain management and holistic wellness, Dr. Skaggs specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the spine, joints, and nervous system.

At Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Dr. Skaggs provides individualized treatment plans designed to alleviate back pain, neck pain, headaches, and joint stiffness. His clinical approach integrates evidence-based chiropractic adjustments, corrective therapeutic exercises, and preventative wellness strategies tailored to support each patient’s unique health goals and mobility.

Believing that optimal health starts with accessible care, Dr. Skaggs works within CCHCI’s integrative healthcare framework to ensure seamless coordination with primary care providers, physical therapists, and specialists. D. SCOTT SKAGGS’ BACKGROUND

Dr. Skaggs is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  He has been in private practice for over 28 years.  He has experience with a number of Chiropractic techniques. He enjoys treating patients of all ages ranging from 1 day old to 104 years old to reduce pain, improve mobility, and stay active. He believes in taking a practical, patient-centered approach to care and helping each patient reach their individual health goals.  He enjoys helping people get back to doing the things they love and finds satisfaction in seeing patients quality of life improve. 

He is excited to be part of Chiricahua Community Health Centers and its “Health for All” mission. He believes everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare and enjoys working alongside other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for the community.   

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Skaggs enjoys spending time with his wife and 5 children and grand-daughter, hiking, biking, traveling, van camping, exploring nature, and any chance to go to the beach.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND: 

Dr. Skaggs attended Bakersfield College in Bakersfield, California and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1998.  He has advanced training in treating auto accident injuries and whiplash as well as specialized training with NAET used for treating allergies. 

Dr. Skaggs founded Skaggs Chiropractic in Pleasant View, Utah in 1999 and recently sold his practice to join the Chiricahua Community Health Center.
