Nori Ruo, MD FAAP
Dr. Ruo is a board-certified pediatrician with Chiricahua Community Health Centers, providing compassionate, patient-centered care to children and adolescents from birth through age 21.
Dr. Ruo joined Chiricahua in 2015 after spending much of his career practicing general pediatrics in central and western Pennsylvania. Throughout his career, he has valued the trust and relationships built with young patients and their families and believes strongly in providing care that supports both the health of the child and the family as a whole.
In addition to his work in pediatrics, Dr. Ruo has a longstanding passion for medical mission work, including supporting communities in north-central Mexico. His commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations closely reflects Chiricahua’s mission of Caring for Patients, Building Healthy Communities and the vision of Health for All.
Dr. Ruo earned his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota Pediatric Residency Program in Minneapolis.

Founded in 1996 as a small, rural health clinic operating in a community center, Chiricahua has since grown to become the largest primary care organization in southeastern Arizona, serving more than 35,000 patients annually. Chiricahua operates fifteen fixed-site medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy clinics, and five mobile-medical and mobile-dental units, that serve patients throughout the more than 6200 square mile borderlands of Cochise County.
