With the new school year and sports seasons right around the corner, it is time to make sure our local student-athletes are healthy, safe, and cleared to play!
At Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. (CCHCI), we are dedicated to keeping our community’s youth active and thriving. To help families prepare for the upcoming season, we are bringing FREE sports physicals directly to local middle and high schools across the region throughout July and August!

We are hitting the road to make getting your student’s physical as convenient as possible. Check out our remaining school visit schedule:

- July 23rd & 24th – Bisbee High School
- July 27th – Tombstone High School
- July 29th – Huachuca City School
- July 30th & 31st – Buena High School
- August 3rd & 7th – Douglas High School
- August 6th – Elfrida Public School
📝 What You Need to Know Before You Go
To ensure a smooth and quick visit for everyone, please keep these important guidelines in mind:
- Parental Presence: All student-athletes must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Paperwork First: All athletic clearance forms must be filled out completely prior to being seen by our medical team.
- Eligibility: These events are open to middle and high school students who are enrolled in the hosting school’s district.
🏥 Can’t Make the School Dates? We’ve Got You Covered!
If you can’t make it to one of our school events—or if your local school isn’t on the list—there is no need to worry!
You can schedule an appointment at any of our convenient clinic sites, such as our Willcox or Benson locations. All annual youth wellness visits at Chiricahua include a free sports physical as part of the check-up. It’s the perfect way to get your child’s routine health screening completed while also getting their sports clearance form signed!
