Victor Romero is a Registered Pharmacist providing patient-centered pharmacy services at Chiricahua Health Centers. With decades of experience across multiple states, he is dedicated to improving access to medications, education, and overall health outcomes for the communities he serves.
I believe in “Health for All” and the unique role Chiricahua plays in assuring that people get the healthcare they need. By breaking down barriers to healthcare such as low income, lack of transportation, cultural or language differences, and access to educational programs, Chiricahua provides a vital service to the health and well-being of underserved populations in Southeast Arizona.
Victor was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was inspired to pursue a career in pharmacy by his uncle, who owned an independent pharmacy in Española. He admired the accessibility pharmacists have to the public and the meaningful role they play in improving patients’ lives.
After graduating from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy, Victor went on to oversee pharmacy practice across several western states, including Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.
This breadth of experience has given him a unique perspective on how pharmacists connect with patients across diverse communities. For much of the past two decades, he has served patients in Sierra Vista and takes pride in continuing to care for his local community.
