Since joining CCHCI in 2023, she has focused on preventive health, evidence‑based treatment, and building trusted relationships with individuals and families. Dr. Poonnopatam is committed to supporting long‑term wellness in the Sierra Vista community through attentive, patient‑centered care.

Founded in 1996 as a small, rural health clinic operating in a community center, Chiricahua has since grown to become the largest primary care organization in southeastern Arizona, serving more than 35,000 patients annually.
