Community Health Workers in Cochise County

Chiricahua is dedicated to delivering healthcare to everyone in Cochise County through innovative approaches. Our team reaches vulnerable community members wherever they are, including food banks, shelters, and farm fields.

Community Health Initiatives

Migrant & Seasonal Farmworker Program: Since 1996, Chiricahua has proudly served farmworkers as a Federally Qualified Health Center. With trained community health workers (promotoras), we use a community-based approach to educate, support, and provide basic health services directly in the communities we serve. Our team’s dedication often brings heartfelt thanks, like, “Thank you for caring about us.”

Health Fair Participation: Our Community Health Workers frequently attend local health fairs, providing free blood pressure checks, blood sugar screenings, and cholesterol readings. They also set up first aid stations at public events when requested.
