JOINED CCHCI IN 2023
Why I Believe in the Mission of CCHCI

I choose to practice Chiricahua’s mission of “Health for All” in pharmacy by providing not only prescription medication, but also through counseling on over the counter medications and education to my patients about their medications and lifestyle modification that can improve overall health. Our 340B medication program enables us to spread our medication funding further to provide lower cost medications which in turn help patients stay adherent and healthy.

ATHENA’S BACKGROUND

I am an Arizona native who lived in several states as part of a military family. I moved back to Arizona after high school to pursue a degree in Business Management from Arizona State University and lived in the Phoenix Valley until I was accepted to the University of Hawaii at Hilo for pharmacy school. I returned to Sierra Vista to practice pharmacy to be closer to my family and because of my love of a rural setting. When I am not in the pharmacy, I enjoy spending time outdoors in the various hiking trails in Cochise County. I also enjoy spending time with my dog Noodles either at home, on a trail, or at the dog park. I also enjoy traveling, and spend time with my East Coast family as much as possible.
