Domestic Violence Advocacy

Chiricahua domestic violence advocacy

Chiricahua domestic violence advocacy provides free, confidential support for individuals and families affected by abuse. Our team offers compassionate guidance, education, and resources to help survivors find safety, healing, and stability.

Support for Survivors

Since 2006, Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. has provided essential services for free in Cochise County with a full-time, Department of Justice certified patient advocate. In 2016, we trained three more employees to further support our communities.

At Chiricahua, we focus on the whole person, caring for physical, emotional, and mental health. We offer these important services to everyone, no matter their financial situation or insurance status.

Education and Prevention

Our team also provides education on domestic violence and sexual assault. We work with schools, women’s groups, church groups, and other organizations to offer this crucial information.

You Are Not Alone

“For me, education is prevention. It is very hard to prevent domestic violence, but when we educate the community on how to recognize and stand up against domestic violence we help to bring forward those victims who may otherwise not seek help.”
