I believe in and support CCHCI’s “Health for All” mission because great healthcare starts with having the right staff to provide excellent care to our patients. Patients remember the care received and Human Resources supports CCHCI in recruiting the right staff and retaining our valuable talent to ensure patient experiences are consistently positive. Every CCHCI employee is very important and critical to our success. In my CCHCI role, it is an honor to continue to support those who have the heart and compassion to serve our patients.
I was born in Los Angeles, spent my childhood in Southern California and then moved to Tucson while in high school. I have been very fortunate to grow up in a special, loving environment where family always comes first. It has set a foundation in my life of making family a priority and has also served me well in my HR Healthcare career. This foundation serves to remind me that family is so important both in our personal lives and as a strong support system in the healing process for patients. I have spent most of my HR career in healthcare in Arizona both in clinics and hospitals. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work in wonderful healthcare organizations with very talented and gifted individuals who put the needs of patients first. I am glad to now be at CCHCI because of our Mission, amazing employees and the special patients we serve.
During time off, I enjoy spending time with both my immediate (including Shih Tzu Mario) and extended family. We enjoy hiking, trying new restaurants (not Mario:)) and watching movies together. I also have fun creating special memories each year traveling and vacationing to different places with family and friends.
I graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and continue to be a die-hard Wildcat fan. I enjoy watching Arizona Wildcat sports and cheering them on with my husband and son.
I am a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and enjoy the continuous learning environment of the HR field.
