I believe healthcare should be provided for every person in this country regardless of their ability to pay. As a pharmacist, I have seen incredibly expensive copays on medications that are crucial to a patient's survival, yet they are unable to afford. Fortunately, working for Chiricahua allows me to get patients their medication at a deeply discounted rate due to the 340B program we qualify as an organization for. I am finally able to come to work everyday and provide patients with the medications they need and they healthcare they deserve.
I was born in Douglas and raised in Sierra Vista, AZ. I attended undergraduate school at Pima Community College on a soccer scholarship and moved to Oregon for pharmacy school. despite my new found love for rainy days I decided to move back home to the desert where I spent 2 years as a compounding pharmacist in Chandler. I was introduced to Chiricahua by my older sister and fellow pharmacist, Amy. After hearing about the wonderful experience she has had serving countless patients in the area, I decided I wanted to join the Chiricahua team. I am passionate about providing optimal patient care while making a positive impact on people’s lives, and I feel Chiricahua will provide me with these opportunities to serve the community that I love.
