I grew up in a small rural town in upstate New York. I knew early on that I was interested in health, which lead me to medical school in New York City. While there, I came to value working with underserved populations, and having the chance to build longitudinal relationships with my patients. This led me to pursue a family medicine residency, where I was able to engage with my patients within the broader contest of their community.
After residency, I completed a year long fellowship to further my training in the provision of full spectrum reproductive health care.
My husband and I moved to southern Arizona in the summer of 2020, drawn by the diversity of the communities here, easy access to the outdoors, and slower pace of life. (And of course the warm weather!)
I am excited to become a part of the CCHCI community!
