Radiologic Technologist JOINED CCHCI IN 2017 Why I Believe in the Mission of CCHCII work for Chiricahua because I have a passion for taking care of and making a difference in all people's lives, regardless of their ability to pay. I believe all people deserve quality healthcare where they are treated with compassion and respect. I am excited to be a part of this team at Chiricahua, who believe in Health for ALL because it allows me to utilize my experiences to bring services to the underserved, who really need care.
Michelle'S BACKGROUND
I was born in a small town in Northeastern Michigan. While working as a chiropractic assistant, I realize I wanted a career in the medical field. I wanted to be able to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
In 2006, I graduated from Mid Michigan Community College with a degree in Radiography. In 2007, I took a job in rural Maine at a small hospital. It was here I gained an abundance of experience in the different modalities of radiology. This included: CT, Mammography, Bone Density, General Radiography, and Emergency / Trauma Radiography. As this was a small community, I was able to get to know the patients I saw and from this experience, my love for taking care of others grew. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others. My passion is to take care of my patients, to have empathy, humanity, and understanding for all.
My goal in working with CCHCI is to help offer more radiology services in the future in order to give the patients the best possible quality care as well as saving lives by providing imaging services to those that need it.
I am glad to be in this community that needs the radiology services I can provide. I love the desert life with all the surrounding mountains and open spaces. I relocated here with my husband Jeff, and my two dogs, P-Diddy and Jack. I enjoy hiking, golfing, crocheting, and am very passionate about photography.
