I believe in the mission because I dream of a world where all humans have the same opportunities to thrive. Healthcare for all is a huge step in the right direction to promote healthier and happier communities and I am truly humbled to be part of an organization that delivers on such a promise.
I was born and raised in Grand Island, NY and spent the last few years of my life living in Albany, NY. I would consider my childhood to be sheltered and privileged and admittedly, it wasn’t until my early adult years that I realized this wasn’t the case for everyone. My father was a very hardworking welder and my mother was fortunate enough to have the option to stay home with us until we were teenagers. It took a short time for me to realize that knowing others didn’t have the same opportunities and necessities to thrive that I did really bothered me to my core. It fueled my passion and desire to make a difference in the world, to give back in any way that I could, and to leave each person that I meet with a bigger smile and more support than when I first encountered them. I have a passion for traveling the world, gaining deeper understanding and knowledge about various cultures, religions and belief systems, and helping others achieve their goals and dreams. Most of my free time is spent hanging out with my pets or volunteering at the animal shelter here in town. I love to travel as much as possible, see new places and meet new people. Beyond that, I really enjoy a good book or puzzle and find peace in the simple things in life such as a relaxing cup of tea.
I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology in 2018 with a focus in Psychology. I then continued on to get my Master of Business Administration accompanied by a Graduate Certificate in Project Management in 2020.
