I believe in caring for people and I see how CCHCI care for it's people and how it is committed to expanding healthcare in Cochise County.

Alma'S BACKGROUND

I was born in Agua Prieta, Mexico and moved to Douglas, AZ when I was two years old. I went to study law in Guadalajara and have been serving as the Douglas, AZ City Magistrate for 14 years. I was elected as the Justice of the Peace in district 2 for Cochise County in 2007 and have been serving in that position ever since. I love to serve my community and work as the lector and catechist at the Church of Immaculate Conception for 14 years. I love to participate in my community of Douglas, AZ and am happy to serve on the board of Chiricahua in support of the community work they do.

Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. (CCHCI) is a mission driven Federally Qualified Health Center and a tax exempt not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1996 as a small, rural health clinic operating in a community center, CCHCI has since grown to become the largest primary care organization in southeastern Arizona, serving more than 30,000 patients annually. CCHCI operates fourteen fixed-site medical clinics, and seven mobile-medical and mobile-dental units, that serve patients throughout the more than 6200 square mile borderlands of Cochise County.
