I love to be a part of great teams, and I believe that Chiricahua has a team that can be on the leading edge of healthcare. I believe we can find a way to give quality healthcare in instances where others would turn their back. My personal mission is to alleviate suffering in the world, and Chiricahua’s mission aligns with that.
I started my career as a journalist and found a love for healthcare along the way. I grew up in Mesa, AZ, and have lived all over the United States, in addition to living in Chile as a missionary for two years. Before coming to Chiricahua, I was the Executive Director of Haven of Douglas, a skilled-nursing facility in Douglas, AZ.
I enjoy finding the intersection of data and narrative. The numbers are important to me, but more important than the numbers are the story the numbers tell. As CFO of Chiricahua, I look forward to making sure the numbers reflect the mission of the organization.
At home, I like spending time with my wife, three sons, and two dogs. One of my hobbies is trail running, and more specifically running ultra-marathons. My longest race to date was the Mogollon Monster 105K in Pine, AZ (I’m a two-time finisher: 2019, 2020).
