Chiricahua Community Health Centers Hosts Mayor and Benson Hospital CEO for Collaborative Visit

Chiricahua Community Health Centers was proud to host Mayor Joe Konrad and Benson Hospital CEO Gary Kartchner at our Benson Family Health Center on Thursday, June 20^th! Chiricahua CEO Dr. Jonathan Melk led the visit which included a short brief on Federally Qualified Health Centers and a deep dive into the wide array of services provided by Chiricahua in Benson.  Since opening the Benson Family Health Center in 2018, Chiricahua has continued to expand health services and now offers a full-service pharmacy on site for patients.  Mayor Konrad, who is no stranger to Chiricahua,  thanked leadership and staff and seemed to know many of the employees and patients he met while touring the facility.   We were also honored to host Gary Kartchner who literally walked across the road to join us!  As the leader of our health partner in Benson, we celebrated our close working relationship and the whole-person healthcare we can provide to the Benson community.  All in all, it was a great visit that reaffirmed we are StrongerTogether

Spanish: ¡Chiricahua Community Health Centers tuvo el orgullo de recibir al Alcalde Joe Konrad y al CEO del Benson Hospital, Gary Kartchner, en nuestro Benson Family Health Center el jueves 20 de junio! El CEO de Chiricahua, Dr. Jonathan Melk, dirigió la visita que incluyó una breve presentación sobre los Centros de Salud Calificados a Nivel Federal y una exploración de los servicios proporcionados por Chiricahua en Benson. Desde la apertura en 2018, Chiricahua ha ampliado los servicios de salud y ahora ofrece una farmacia completa en el sitio para los pacientes. El Alcalde Konrad agradeció a la directiva y al personal, y conocía a muchos empleados y pacientes durante el recorrido. Fue un honor recibir a Gary Kartchner, quien cruzó la calle para unirse a nosotros. Celebramos nuestra relación de trabajo y la atención integral que proporcionamos a la comunidad de Benson.
